Are you willing?
Hold up – no, that isn’t a rhetorical question, I’m dead serious.
I want to know if you are willing?
So many business owners I speak to want to save the world.
They decide to launch a business to create big impact.
It sounds noble (and it is) – but what if the world doesn’t want to be saved?
Because truthfully, if the world wanted to be saved, don’t you think we’d have figured out a way to do it by now?
Seriously, the only way I know to create impact and to be the change you want to see in the world is to look yourself in the mirror and be willing to save yourself first.
Be willing to change your world.
Be willing to do the things that lead to creating better results because the simple truth is that with better inputs, you will consistently create better results.
Be willing to commit to doing what is required and not just doing the easy things because the only way to get to the desired results is by focusing on the right things, not just ticking the easy things off your to-do list.
Be willing to acknowledge that there is no glory or gold star awarded for being obstinate in your belief that you must figure everything out on your own. Hire help from seasoned experts who have both been where you want to go and are capable and willing to guide you successfully along the path to repeatable results.
Be willing to find a way to create the cash to invest and to stop fearing investing in your business because you fear wasting money. Forbes Business produced a study in recent years that said that the typical business owner needs to invest $90,000 to get their business off the ground, so be prepared to invest in your future if you want to create a thriving business.
Be willing to bet on yourself because it is the lowest risk you will EVER take.
Be willing because when you are, this is when you can change your world.
And, when you change your world and you become a person who bets on themselves, an incredible ripple is cast; other people start betting on you too.
You can build a business empire – when you are willing.
So let me ask you again.
