The Uncomfortable Truth is Your Reality Reflects the Choices You’re Making.

So if you feel stuck, let me tell you another truth – stuck is a mindset not a reality.

It’s another week of doing hard things…

In the quiet this morning, I was reflecting my life and the choices I’m making.

It’s been a hard couple of weeks if you’ve been reading my recent emails with the passing of my Mother-in-Law.

And the truth is, there still will be many more hard days ahead as we morn her loss and support our Father’s who are also on the shorter end of their horizon.

Consequently, I’m still staying committed to repeating my mantra to myself about a million times a day.

Reminding myself that I can do hard things (and so can you.)

So many people coast through life failing to realize that every second is gift because moments matter.

If you are feeling stuck, I want to remind you that you are not a tree.

You can move.

In fact, the only way out of stagnation is motion.

If we fail to move, then we must accept the consequences.

That may be an uncomfortable truth.

It doesn’t make it less true.

What is also true is that your current reality is the result of your choices.

If you’ve taken time out of your business to focus on other priorities – awesome, I celebrate you for the active choice YOU made.

There will be consequences.

Some of those will be beautiful consequences like memories with your family or maybe even taking a trip of a lifetime to see or experience something that is on your bucket list.

Cherish these moments.

Some of those consequences may not shimmer so brightly because they have created a lack of cash flow in your bank balance or impacted the momentum in your business and now you feel concern that you don’t have new clients signed up to start with you as the summer starts to set and the bills are due.

Don’t give in to the temptation to avoid the reality of this moment as doing so may prolong and deepen the consequences.

It is time for action.

You can’t be upset for not getting results from the actions you haven’t yet taken.

What you do now, in this moment matters most.

  • Where do you go from here?
  • What actions can you take?
  • What help do you need?
  • What resources are available?

Shift into solving mode – because trust me when you stop letting your emotions drive – the answers can be found.

You may face choices that feel hard.

That is ok.

I’m here to remind you that you can do hard things, and here is a hint – decisions get easier when you know the result is personally worth it to you.

For me personally, I’m choosing to re-engage with the vision I have for my future and get into full on action mode.

Remember, we can do hard things and only we get to CHOOSE whether the actions we take are worth it to us or not.

It’s go time.
